Hello! I just happened upon this website, and I am glad I did. I have been searching for some type of organized support in dealing with the BWC and was wondering if one existed. I am an LPN, and was injured at work by a patient. I sustained a concussion, and unfortunately it turned out to be pretty severe in that 8 months later I am still struggling with Post concussion syndrome symptoms on a daily basis.

I have had one course, 10 sessions, of rehabilitation therapy. I had the original CT scan the day of the injury, and none since then. The past eight months have been a roller coaster of frustration, illness and pain dealing with the BWC, trying to get the care I need, get the care that has been ordered, etc. I am sure this isn't new to anyone reading this. It should be illegal, but the treatment of injured workers at times is less than what a prisoner in jail would receive. It's a roller coaster trying to stay positive, keep feelings in check, headaches at bay, etc.

I am waiting on appointments with two specialists right now that will hopefully wave a magic wand over me :P , hoping for the best. I am glad to have found this site.
Max
