Sorry Folks

The Sugar Grove Project failed to meet its goal of 88 signatures of interest - not commitment, and as a result the lenders have withdrawn their offers of funding. I really tried hard to do a good thing here, but apparently there was insufficient support from the disabled community to have a town of their own, stigma free, and people who understood. As of June 15th the website will be down. Until then you can visit it, leave a comment, or just ignore it as most have. No one will ever understand my disappointment.

Sugar Grove Project

The new website for my project to give people like us a better life, a life without stigma, a place filled with understanding, and affordable living with jobs, things for the kids, and a quality of life.

Think Hard About This !

The Sugar Grove Project has created a lot of interest, but the big question/issue for most people has been the costs associated with uprooting a family and moving to a new place. I've been spending some time talking to moving companies and found that many are losing money because they can't fill trucks. Add on loads to an existing load going in the same general direction are sold at highly discounted rates. If you were to think about making the move that way would it change your mind a little? Enough to ask some questions here? Enough to want me to contact you directly to see if we can help you make a move that could save you money every month, allow you to live in dignity, and get the quality medical care that we all seek? Think hard about this - our housing availability is shrinking!

Sugar Grove Project

We are gaining ground, we started out needing 78 families and we are now in need of 57! One thing I find in emails is that people want to come but are afraid of moving costs. If that is holding you back, talk to me - maybe I can help! New email is Jerry@sugargroveproject.cu.cc

Are there any more takers?

I'm really surprised! I thought more people would jump all over this opportunity. Or maybe you have on the website. Anyway, if you have decided to go for it, would you let me know? My husband and I are excited about it and plan to make the move if it works out.

The website is up! I posted the site yesterday and have already had lots of questions, tons of interest, I'm doing my best to make this happen!

T he SUGAR GROVE project is all about taking over a small town recently abandoned because of budget cuts. The NSA moved out Feb 7th-9th and the property was put up for auction. I am going on the hook for 1.5 million dollars to buy this town and turn it into a place for people with Chronic Pain, Disabilities, RSD, and the host of unseen illnesses. A place where you can own where you live for less than you pay for rent, a place where the kids have playgrounds, a youth center, great hunting and fishing. A place with a staffed Clinic on site. This is not a dream, not a scam, this is something I have been trying to do for 3 years but until this auction came along construction costs always killed the plan. Go to my new website NHHOUSEWRIGHTCONSULTING.COM see and read for yourself. You can ask all the questions you want on page 3 or email me at nhhousewrightconsulting.com or of course post them here on the site. I will return messages within 24 hours !
