Dave Dupor DD CUSTOM CYCLE
DD Custom Cycle was introduced to the custom world shortly after its first special construction in 1999. This construction took place in the basement of a small house in Chicago. This design turned into a head turning, award winning creation. The man behind the creation was David Dupor. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, his knack for detail and perfection are just a few characteristics his bikes symbolize. Each bike incorporates a new design and sense of flowing lines that will distinguish it from the rest ot the custom world. Why clutter the creation with loose wires and cables, instead utilize the frame thickness for internal wiring and cable routing.
Perfection is priceless and quality is the number one factor in each DD Custom Cycle. Why purchase a stock motorcycle, invest thousands to customize it, and eventually run into someone else who has the same motorcycle? A custom motorcycle is a piece of machinery that reflects the owners personality and dreams. Your choice of frame style, engine displacement, wheels, and fenders are just to name a few. DD Custom Cycles designs and builds bikes from the leaders in the aftermarket world. DD Custom Cycles is also beginning its own line of handle bars, derby and points covers, curved LED boxes, and gas tank trim rings.
DD Custom Cycle is quickly becoming one of the top bagger builders in the country. Winning the Baddest Bagger in Sturgis two years in a row, became a turning point in the company. Dave Dupor has always been known for his ultra clean and radical pro-street choppers for the last 10 years, and now he has applied those same design ideas, concepts and functionality to the ever expanding Harley market, specifically the touring models – or what we call “Baggers”.
DD Custom Cycle has become a one stop shop for all your bagger needs. From cutting the neck and raking the frame to the correct angle required to maintain correct trail, to complete transformations from the frame up. Dave prides himself on details and clean lines, no visible wires, cables, anything that would take away from the flowing lines of the machine. Steel fabrication is a huge part of his success. Most of the front fenders, rear fenders and gas tanks are all hand stretched steel – not fiberglass covers or shells. A true custom is a work of art first in metal, and then a piece of fine art when it is molded and painted to perfection.
